Generally yes, hypercars are very different from normal cars by design. Supercars and hyper cars with insane speed are equipped with special safety systems, standard airbags are not there, at such speed they are on the contrary dangerous. It's a traumatising sport in general, you can't argue with that. Look at the statistics on accidents and results, it's sad as it is.
